BCCI's plans before Arjun Tendulkar's ODI coronation

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that Indian batting will continue to be in bad shape till Sachin Tendulkar son, Arjun Tendulkar, makes his One-Day International debut.
We want to recreate the same situation that was prevailing when Sachin Tendulkar made his debut and hope to find another great batsman in Arjun Tendulkar,” BCCI chief N Srinivasan disclosed the grand plan for revival of Indian cricket.

Srinivasan told Faking News that the board might drop a couple of players here and there and experiment with captaincy, but the ultimate goal is to mostly indulge in time pass till Sachin’s son debuts.

It is not like we would be doing nothing at all till Arjun grows up,” Srinivasan said. “We’d be organising world class IPLs, selector meetings and sponsorship deals.”

It should be noted that Arjun Tendulkar is currently 14 years old, while Sachin had made his debut when he was 16 years old.

Yes, you can safely assume that Indian batting would continue being ordinary for another couple of years, say till the next ODI World Cup,” an expert claimed.

Sources suggest that the current Indian team too has welcomed the plan, with Rohit Sharma promising to follow the BCCI’s strategy to the toe.

Even Ravindra Jadeja is trying to become an all-rounder like Ravi Shastri so that we can recreate the Indian team of late 80s and early 90s,” informed Rohit Sharma, dropped from the team and thus available to talk to us.
