Its wedding season in B-town! After the much hyped Saif and Kareena marriage, yet another actor has tied the knot in a private ceremony.
The Indo-Canadian actor and host of Top Chef Canada, Lisa Ray tied the knot with her boyfriend Jason Dehni in Napa valley in California on Saturday, October 20. An investment banker by profession, Jason and Lisa had been seeing each other for a few years, before
Jason proposed marriage to her in February this year.
The wedding ceremony was an intimate affair held at the picturesque Napa valley in California, with some of her closest friends – who composed a song for the couple – in attendance. Lisa wore a white crystal encrusted gown designed by close friend Wendell Rodricks.
“I am profoundly in love with @jasondehni. Signing off to be swept away in a current of love, gratitude, Wedding Festivities and…vino” Tweeted Lisa, the bride to be, on the eve of her wedding.
Lisa will be visiting Mumbai in November along with Jason and will introduce him to some of her closest friends who could not make it to the wedding in the US. She also has a few acting assignments in Mumbai that she will attend to while in the city. The actor said that she had no plans to settle into a quiet married life and that she will continue to work on both acting assignments, and the charity work she has been doing for cancer awareness.
